Home Hospitality

Kamatz maintains an ongoing dialogue with Jews from the Diaspora.  We believe that we have a role to play in listening, being heard, and influencing the lives of our brothers and sisters, and in ensuring a continuum of communication between Jews in Israel and abroad.

Kamatz is pleased to be able to host Reform communities on group tours for home hospitality following Friday evening services. This informal setting, allows our visitors and hosts alike to open their hearts, and encourages real dialogue on all levels. It is our vision that sharing the Shabbat eve and hosting families for Shabbat meals makes the most valuable experience for both Israeli families and guests.

From what we have heard from our visitors, this is one of the highlights of participants’ visits to Israel. It allow visitors the opportunity for personal interaction with Israelis in their homes and encourages support for the State of Israel and the Israeli people.
