- The new synagogue stands on Rehov Hahoshen, in the
Reches Halilim neighborhood.
- The building is designed by the architect Jeff Remez.
- The center covers an area of 650 square meters (about 6,500
square feet).
- Its architecture integrates both old and new -
traditional and modern - themes.
- Its roof and the ceiling of the prayer sanctuary are
designed to reminiscent of a hupah.
- Its entrance and library up above are designed to be
reminiscent of a ceremonial spice box.
- Its arch (Aron Hakodesh) faces Jerusalem.
- The seating in the prayer sanctuary will be around the
pulpit (Bimah), which will be placed in the center.
- In the courtyard you will be able to find the Tree of Life
and the Tree of Knowledge (not for eating!).
- The building will contain a 'cafelery'
(café-gallery), study rooms, learning center (Beit Midrash) and
an activity/sports hall.
- Kiddush ceremonies can be held under the sky in the
adjacent garden and then continued in the 'cafelery'.
