Beit Midrash 'Center for Learning' |

| In our Beit Midrash (center for
learning) you can study the Bible or a page of the Gamara - at
times using contemporary texts - to gain new insights into the
ancient sources of Jewish tradition history and society. Through these
new perspectives you can obtain a greater understanding these sources
in light of the views and values of today. The topics studied vary from one year to the next. This year we are studying 'Better a good name than good oil'. The Kamaz library - which was built from donations from members of the congregation in Israel and from abroad - is available to the participants in the Beit Midrash. Beit Midrash studies take place (in Hebrew) on Fridays from 9:00-11:00 (including a coffee break) at Rehov Dar 4 in Mevasseret Zion. |
